I am a mechanical engineering student at Olin College of Engineering. I am passionate about aerospace technology (rockets, satellites, high-altitude balloons), composites and material science, and climate/aerospace research. I am currently the Project Manager on Olin Rocketry, where I manage the design, build, test, and launch of our high-powered rockets and lead fundraising and outreach events. Additionally, as a Structures Engineer on the team I have designed, machined, analyzed, and assembled a modular high-powered thrust test stand, and manufactured composite components such as carbon fiber fairings and airbrake fins.
I am fascinated by the engineering challenges of rocket development, especially designing structures that withstand extreme forces while propelling vital technology to new heights to conduct groundbreaking research. With my engineering degree, I aim to pursue reusable spacecraft technologies and innovative manufacturing methods that reduce waste and production costs, making aerospace engineering and research more accessible and sustainable.
